Welcome Opie to Trevathan family

Stray cats just know how to find us. JT found this kitty about a week ago. We have named him Opie, and from the photo he and Bandit are great friends. Please welcome Opie to our ever growing animal population in Nevada.

I Like to see Cats being taken care of! There are so many people that don't like cats and want to hurt them, When my wife came here from OZ land(Australia)Well a long story short She got involved in The TNR program a $5 feral cat permit to catch fix and release, And she has had up to this Date So far 57 cats fixed.Wow, Did I mention all the shots too...
Sometimes I wish that we had some of that money back in our disposal but hey it was a good cause.

Welcome Opie! Look forward to meeting you! I'm guessing your mouse house guests have relocated!?

That is awesome Augie. It is a great thing you and your family did. We'll see if the mice try to come back this spring and summer. They may be too busy with each other to notice. LOL!!

If you come across any more strays that need a home and you cant take them on, please send them my way. We are currently hiring cats for full time positions as mousers in a growing farm community. Benefits, a warm place to sleep, regular feedings, other cat companions in a no dog, cat friendly farm.
